Service Description
Yin Yoga is a gentle and slow yoga style where you hold asanas for longer periods of time. Incorporating traditional Chinese medicine to truly quieten the mind and rest the body. Some of the benefits of yin yoga: 1. Triggers the para-sympathetic nervous system 2. Reduces feelings of stress and anxiety 3. Improves the flow of prana (breath) 4. It is exercise of the connective tissue 5. Supports immune function and overall physical health Incorporating sound healing, with Tibetan sound bowls, shakers, gong and drum. Alternating in each class. Also offering essential oils from Doterra to work with our intention. This style of yoga is perfect for beginners looking to step onto the mat. This is not a course, but a rolling weekly class. Yoga mats and blocks provided. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BLANKET AND CUSHION.
